Paperwork will be sent home with players on August 23. This will include forms which need to be completed and turned in to Lake Country Soccer by August 28, along with payment. Also included will be a short questionnaire for the players, and some contact information.
I'm excited about the coming season. I am sure that I will be learning as much as the players. My goal is for us to have fun and grow in our soccer skills.
Practice will begin Monday, August 27 and will continue through the entire week (Monday through Friday). Practice will take place after school on the east field, northeast of the tennis courts. Our first day we will spend time getting to know one another, and playing a short scrimmage so that I can get an idea of who likes to play where, and what our skill level is. Practice will last until 4:45; you can pick your player up at the front parking area. I would also like to get to know all of the parents, on your own convenience.
If it appears that rain will disrupt practice on any day, we will move practice inside. I have tapes of 2006 World Cup games which we will watch to learn from.
When Lake Country delivers a schedule, I will be sure to post that on this site, and get those distributed.

Man U earned their first win this season by defeating Tottenham 1-0. If only we had stadiums like this in the US.
